Branch Details

The Legion was first created to help servicemen who fought in World War One and to help their dependants. Since then it has grown into a network of charitable organisations within the Legion and covers many functions such as:
Membership of the Legion is not necessary to obtain advice and help. Its role is to help service and ex service men/women and their dependants. However, being a member of the Branch offers comradeship with personnel who all have something in common. For more details on the RBL visit the Royal British Legion Website.
